Boat Race is a feedback display (AKA game) in which the client controls the position of the three racing boats based on reward and inhibit thresholds.

Inhibit conditions cut off the audio and cut thrust of the center ('reward') boat making it fall back in the race. Inhibits can also create fog and dim the sky.

The fuel tank at the upper-right of the screen indicates how long optimal focus is being sustained (maintaining a rewardable state with no inhibits). With sustained focus, the reward boat will receive a nitro boost and jump off a ramp, adding interest and incentive for the client.
