Custom Session Plans allow a user to easily apply a Session Plan to multiple Client IDs. These Custom Session Plans are templates that are created and stored on the system in a similar way to normal Session Plans, but can be applied to new or existing Client IDs in a few simple steps. This expedites the process of onboarding new clients, as the Session Plan no longer needs to be adjusted on a client-by-client basis.

Custom Session Plans are stored on a Layout-by-Layout basis for each Protocol Class, and multiple Custom Session Plans can be stored for each Layout.

To create a new Custom Session Plan or edit an existing one, follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to Client>Custom session plans>[Protocol Class]>Edit custom [Protocol Class] protocol class session plans from the top toolbar of EEGer’s main screen.
  2. A window will appear to select the Layout for the Custom Session Plan.
  3. A list of existing Custom Session Plans will appear. Select the Custom Session Plan to be edited or Default if creating a new Custom Session Plan. If no custom plans exist for the selected Layout, EEGer will go directly to the Plan Session screen.
  4. The Plan Session screen will open. Make necessary adjustments to the session plan.
  5. Enter a name into the Name of this session plan field in the top-left of the Plan Session screen. Leaving this field blank will cause the Default Custom Session Plan to be overwritten. Entering the name of an existing Custom Session Plan (of the same Layout) will replace that Custom Session Plan with the new adjustments.
  6. When ready, press Save/OK to exit the Plan Session screen.

Once a Custom Session Plan has been created, it can be added to an existing client using the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Client>Select Custom Session Plan for an Existing Client from the top toolbar of EEGer’s main screen.
  2. Select the Client ID, Protocol Class, Layout, and Custom Session Plan.
  3. When selecting this Client ID from EEGer’s main screen, the Custom Session Plan will be visible from the Plan Session screen.
  4. Adjustments can be made to the Plan Session screen as normal for this Client ID without impacting other clients using the same Custom Session Plan. Changes also will not impact the Custom Session Plan template.
